Community Service & Philanthropy
Community engagement has been central to my journey in medicine and leadership. Through volunteering and outreach, I’ve learned that healthcare extends beyond hospitals — it’s about compassion, accessibility, and empowering others. Each project has deepened my commitment to using knowledge and empathy to create meaningful, lasting impact.
HEAL (Health Education and Awareness for Labour)
I founded HEAL to address the practical barriers migrant workers face in accessing healthcare within the UAE. Many of the individuals we serve have coverage but limited understanding of how to use it, alongside language and trust challenges that prevent early intervention. Through HEAL, I organize free medical camps in labour accommodations, working with doctors and hospitals to provide check-ups and essential treatment. HEAL also focuses on education, translating medical advice into accessible information and building long-term awareness about preventive health. What began as a small outreach effort has grown into an ongoing initiative built on empathy and sustained care.

Dubai Center for Special Needs
At the Dubai Center for Special Needs, I work with children who require individualized support to learn and communicate effectively. I assist during lessons by guiding them through written and physical activities while helping to maintain focus and confidence. I also collaborate with teachers to prepare adaptive learning materials suited to each student’s pace. The role has strengthened my ability to stay patient and responsive in environments that demand close attention to every child’s progress.
Medical Camp Harmony House India
At Harmony House, I joined a medical outreach initiative that provided essential care and education for families in an underserved community. I supported doctors during health assessments and prepared basic supplies for consultations during the patients’ tuberculosis screenings. Outside the clinic, I spent time teaching children at the local school, assisting with the setup of classroom resources. I stay involved by contributing medical equipment to establish a long-term healthcare center for the community.
ASDAN Qualified Student Liaison
As a student liaison, I mentor younger students to help them adjust to the school environment and manage academic expectations that I had once faced when I was their age. I lead small group sessions each week, focusing on time management and building confidence in their studies. I also offer one-to-one guidance when students need support with organization. The position requires definitely awareness of how encouragement can shape both academic and personal progress.
GCSE Mathematics Tutor
As a GCSE mathematics tutor, I work with students who need extra help in understanding complex topics. I focus on breaking down challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps and encourage students to build confidence. I review past exam questions with them and help refine their methods for accuracy as well as timing. Watching their progress over the weeks has reinforced my belief in the value of patience in effective teaching.
Pink Elefunt Modeling
I volunteered as a model for Pink Elefunt, a clothing brand that donates its proceeds to elephant rescue initiatives in Sri Lanka. The project used fashion as a way to highlight the importance of wildlife protection. I took part in campaign shoots that combined visual storytelling with conservation messaging. Through this work, I learned how creativity can draw attention to urgent environmental causes and connect audiences to the impact of ethical choices.
